Sergey Mikhaylovich Stepnyak-Kravchinsky (1851-1895). Ukrainian Revolutionary, known for the knife engagement in St. Petersburg in 1878 at General Nikolaj Metsentsov, head of the Russian gendarmerie and head of the secret police. In revolutionary circles he went under the name Sergius Stepnia.
