At one time an aerospace/rocketry engineer, Daniel Fry first earned recognition as a claimed contactee pursuant to events that occurred starting on July 4th, 1949 (originally stated by him as 1950); in 1955 he founded Understanding, an alternative-thinking organization which overlapped in concept with some of the more spiritual UFOlogical organizations of the era; he was also first editor of the monthly publication of the same name, which lasted until 1979. Both the group and the newsletter earned some recognition during the two-plus decades of their existence. In this book, Fry actually is quote down to earth, considering the subject matter: he quite adroitly handles and explains the alternative conceptual necessities of eventually achieving interstellar travel, explaining along the way the concept of polarized gravity as well as a correct interpretation of dimensions and space. Whatever may be the truth regarding his allien contact - and contact it was; in the fifties, there were, for whatever reason, no abductions, and virtually all claimed alien contacts were of a very positive nature -
