Detective Ericka Stone has been driving the east coast in search of her father followed by solving a case about an unknown soldier’s bones. Now she’s back home. The long journey is over and she’s ready to settle back into her normal life.

Sargeant Greg Kane has gone on the long journey with Ericka, but he is glad to be home. During this time, he’s met an amazing woman. Now they have plans to get to know one another. The young woman in question could become a big part of his life. He finds himself hoping that he has found the one.

As with most things the best laid plans seem to have problems. And when Ericka and Greg arrive home, they have a surprise waiting for them. This surprise will lead them on another unexpected journey. The only question is who will come out whole in the end.
