That’s how Indigo Lockwood sees things, anyway. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a good luck charm in the world that could save him from having his heart broken by an abusive fiancé two years ago, and Indigo’s been desperately lonely ever since.

Aaron North, on the other hand, doesn’t believe in all that mumbo-jumbo. Spending his days writing snarky, skeptical articles for anti-paranormal magazines, Aaron’s life is consumed by logic and what’s directly in front of him. Love at first sight? Sheer nonsense. Fate? He’s not buying it. The fact that his latest gig—an article setting out to debunk a haunted bed breakfast in the quaint town of Crosswinds—thrusts him directly into the path of sexy, free-spirited Indigo is just a coincidence.
