Not Yet the End . . .

Go outside tonight and gaze up into the sky. Find the Southern Cross, stare into the blackness. Imagine you are there, gliding your spacecraft through the empty places, powered by strange equations, finding rock and life and darkness and the answers to a million questions . . .

What is life? How does it happen? Are there other intelligences out there? Are there other worlds on which we can live? What does a star look like as it’s dying? Or the birth of a galaxy?

Pioneers give us new worlds. The early space program gave us a toehold on the universe. The next steps will be yours.
