Mexican Hot Chocolate

The two favorite brands of Mexican hot chocolate, Ibarra and Abuelita, are sold as chocolate “tablets.” Both, flavored with cinnamon, are so very homey on a cold day. Traditionally, Mexican hot chocolate drinks were aerated with a molinero, which is wooden tool, sort of like a whisk, placed in the chocolate and twirled between the palms of your hands to blend and aerate the hot chocolate. Today, I use an electric mixer.
