BREAKFAST ON THE GO

If you get up early and don’t have an appetite yet or you prefer five minutes’ extra sleep over preparing breakfast, then you should try this deliciously simple yogurt treat. Make it the night before, stick it in the fridge, and bring it to work the next day. If you start the day with a jar filled with goodness, it will be much easier to say no to the bagels, croissants, and donuts that will try to seduce you along the way.

INGREDIENTS (1 Serving):

1 cup Greek yogurt

½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Raw honey, to taste

½ cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, unsalted

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Your choice of chopped fruit

DIRECTIONS:

1.    Place the yogurt in a mason jar.

2.    Add the juice, sweeten the mixture with a little raw honey, and stir until smooth.

3.    Add the oats, sunflower seeds, chia seeds (if using), and your choice of fruit. Stir to combine.

4.    Cover the jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
