This nourishing treat is wonderful for adding a high-nutrition boost to your day. Pineapple, kale, and apples give this tasty beverage a seriously healthy punch.
INGREDIENTS (2 Servings):
1 green apple, cored but not peeled
½ bulb fennel, coarsely chopped
½ cup pineapple chunks, fresh or frozen
1 cup coarsely chopped kale
1 handful fresh thyme, leaves picked and coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon green superfood powder
½ cup filtered water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the fiber.
2. Save the fiber for later snacking! I freeze it in ice pop molds for a quick and healthy snack.
