Matcha, a powdered green tea, is plentiful in antioxidants, chlorophyll, and polyphenols. Mix with milk and honey for a richly comforting drink without the guilt.

INGREDIENTS (1 Serving):

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

1 teaspoon matcha powder

½ cup water

Raw honey, to taste

DIRECTIONS:

1.    For the best results, blend the milk and matcha powder in a blender. Combine the milk mixture and water in a small pan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in the honey, to taste.

2.    If you don’t blend the matcha and milk first, then combine just the milk and water in a small pan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Whisk in the matcha powder until thoroughly dissolved and then stir in the honey, to taste.
