SERVES 2
My father had tea every day at five. And since I love chocolate, I thought this was a great way to combine the two. It brings back wonderful memories of many teatimes spent with my father on cold, snowy days.
6 | tablespoons Dutch process cacao powder |
¼ | cup agave |
2 | tablespoons loose-leaf premium Earl Grey tea |
2 | cups boiling water |
Place cacao and agave in a heatproof pitcher. Place tea in a second pitcher or bowl and pour 2 cups boiling water over it. Steep for about 3 minutes. Strain over cacao and agave. Whisk until slightly frothy. Serve in two cups.

Artichoke and White Bean Puree. Maze in the picture with her favorite cat, Minou! She was everything to me. I love everything animal related, hence the painting, napkins, and sculpture.
