MEDITATION MUDRA |
Dhyana-mudra
This gesture appeases your child and improves their concentration.
1. Sit comfortably in one of the four following poses: happy (p.18), diamond (p.17), lotus, or half-lotus (p.19).
2. Position your hands in dhyana-mudra, where your right hand is in your left hand, palms upwards, tips of the thumbs in contact, resting in the hallow of your legs.
3. Breathe normally, concentrating on your breathing.
Depending on your child’s age, the exercise will last from three to fifteen minutes. Closing their eyes will enhance concentration.
