This yogic game stimulates your child’s face, throat, and respiratory system.
1. Sit comfortably in one of the four following yoga postures: easy (p.18), diamond (p.19), half-lotus (p.17), or lotus (p.17).
2. Breathe deeply, then exhale very slowly, making a very soft, continuous sound suitable for a relaxing meditation. You can choose one of the following: “Eeeeeeeeeeeeee”, “Mmmmmmmmmmm”, “Ooooooooooooooo”, “Aaaaaaaaaaaaa, (mouth wide open for the A sound).
Depending on the chosen sound, the child will exhale through the mouth or nose. This game can also be a contest, counting the seconds to determine each of the participants’ endurance.
