This timeline includes Super POWER and PURE foods that may or may not have been discussed in previous chapters. At each age, continue offering foods from the previous stages. With this excellent foundation, mixing in some OKAY foods, as needed, is acceptable. We of course caution you to avoid CRAP to every extent possible.
Note: You can shift the food introduction timeline by a month or two if nursing is going well and your baby is growing and developing as expected through visits with your pediatrician; in such a case, you would simply follow the introduction timeline below, but starting at 7 or 8 months rather than 6 months.
