BLOSSOM

Maraschino cherry
½ ounce or more Grand Marnier
2 ounces Scotch
1 ounce Galliano
1 ounce blood orange juice
Place cherry in a shot glass and pour in Grand Marnier to cover; let soak for 8 to 12 hours. Combine Scotch, Galliano, and juice in mixing glass. Add ice and shake. Strain into glass and garnish with your extra-special little red fruit.
If you ever order a shaken cocktail at The Four Seasons and notice a bit of froth on the surface, don’t worry. It’s a good thing—a little pasteurized egg white in our fresh sour mix, which froths up as the shaker does its thing.
