For hardcore peanut butter addicts, this cocktail fulfills all your nutty urgings. Reminiscent of a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, this drink is both creamy and sweet. You can even roll the rim of the glass in creamy peanut butter and dust with grated dark chocolate for a decadent twist. Ted prefers to stick his fingers in the peanut butter jar for a midnight snack, but maybe this will become his new late-night favorite.
MAKES 1 DRINK
- 1 teaspoon creamy peanut butter, for the rim
- 1 teaspoon finely grated dark chocolate, for the rim
- Ice cubes
- 1½ ounces hazelnut liqueur, such as Frangelico
- 1½ ounces raspberry liqueur, such as Chambord
- 3 ounces half-and-half
- Place the peanut butter on a plate. Roll the edge of a rocks glass in the peanut butter to evenly coat the rim.
- Place the grated chocolate on a clean plate and then roll the edge of the glass in the chocolate so that the chocolate sticks to the peanut butter rim.
- Fill the glass with ice, add the Frangelico, Chambord, and half-and-half, and stir.
