CROUTONS

Yields 4 servings

Ingredients:

½ day-old baguette, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ tablespoon garlic salt

Directions:

1.    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2.    Brush the baguette slices with the olive oil and sprinkle with the garlic salt.

3.    Cut the bread into cubes, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

4.    Allow the croutons to cool before serving.

5.    The croutons are best if served immediately after baking.
