Beryl Crane is the founder and director of the Crane School of Reflexology, which holds the prestigious James Accreditation Award from the International Therapy Examination Council, a leading examining body in complementary therapies. Beryl became a Fellow of the Reflexologists’ Society in 1989. She has been their Publicity Officer since that time. Since 1995, when she was nominated, she has been their Chairperson. Beryl also teaches and lectures internationally and was asked to present and help with advanced courses with the China Reflexology Association in 1995, after which they made her a Full Honourable Member. She is Reflexology Advisor for the Institute for Complementary Medicine (Reflexology Division), the Guild of Complementary Practitioners, and she is one of the Directors of the International Council of Reflexologists in the USA. She is also a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA), The National Back Pain Association, St John’s Ambulance, the All Party Parliamentary Group on Skin and The Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Beryl has recently been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Association of Reflexologists in Britain, in recognition of her services to reflexology.
