The Great (Ridiculous) Formula Debate

We’ve always found the whole Breast vs. Formula debate to be one of the more infuriating points of contention within the parenting community. How to feed your child is a deeply personal decision for any family to make. Anyone with internet access knows that the benefits of breastfeeding are endless. Sure, breast is often best . . . but what about when it’s not?

In some circumstances, breastfeeding (or attempting to breastfeed) causes more stress to either mama or baby (or both) than it’s worth. Some women straight up can’t do it for physical or medical reasons, no matter how many lactation consultants you throw their way. Knowing that, shouldn’t we all—despite our various beliefs on the topic—stay the hell out of it and trust individual mothers’ decision-making abilities? Don’t we all deserve a little more credit than we give each other?

Yeah. We do.
