SERVES 4 • PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES / COOK TIME: 2 TO 3 HOURS

There’s something about crunchy snacks like chips that leave you reaching for more. This guilt-free chip provides vitamins, fiber, and delicious flavor all in one. Cinnamon, an aromatic and warming spice, aides in digestion and supports the spleen, kidneys, and lungs, making it a great addition to your diet and to these chips.

4 apples

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 Preheat the oven to 200°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2 Core the apples and cut into ⅛-inch slices.

3 In a medium bowl, toss the apple slices with the cinnamon. Spread the apples in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

4 Cook for 2 to 3 hours, until the apples are dry. They will still be soft while hot, but will crisp once completely cooled. Store in an airtight container for up to four days.

Cooking tip: If you don’t have parchment paper, use cooking spray to prevent sticking.
