Backcountry Camping is allowed in the backcountry with a wilderness permit. Permits are free from late September to late May. The remainder of the year permits cost $15, reservations are allowed, and quotas are enforced.
Group Camping*: Group campsites are available at Dorst, Sunset, and Canyon View Campgrounds. Fees range from $40 – 60/night. Sites must be reserved in advance. Dorst Campground sites may be reserved by calling (877) 444-6777 or clicking www.recreation.gov. Sites at Sunset and Canyon View must be reserved by fax or mail. Refer to the park website or call (559) 565-4357 for additional information on reservations.
