If you don’t have a BIGkick machine, you can texture the brass tag with coins or textured sheet (see Coins + Patterned Sheet) and proceed to Step 2.
1. Imprint the brass tag with the Deco Etch Paisley Swirl die using the BIGkick Sizzix machine, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Sand both sides with the Reliefing Block.
2. Using a ruler and Sharpie, make five marks down each side of the tag, equidistant from each other, and 2 mm in from the edge. Make holes at the marks with the hole-punch pliers.
3. String a bead onto each jump ring and then thread a jump ring through each of the holes along the sides of the tag. Use two chain-nose pliers to close each jump ring after it’s added.
4. Coil the brass wire around the 12 mm mandrel to make a coil 3 loops long. Remove the coil from the mandrel and thread it onto the top hole of the tag. Spread the 3 coils out from each other gently with your fingers and string the ribbon through the coil.
