Spa Skin Smoothie

Fruits are essential for beautiful, supple skin. They provide many nutrients that fight destructive free radicals and reduce inflammation. Inflammation not only causes internal diseases, but contributes to signs of aging on the exterior also. Drinking this fruit-based smoothie can help slow the process of impending wrinkles, dry and sagging skin, and fine lines.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spring greens

12 cup frozen strawberries, stems removed

1 cup frozen mango cubes

1 medium carrot, peeled

1 orange, peeled and seeded

6 walnut halves

2 cups coconut water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
