Cocoa-Raspberry Brainiac Smoothie

Chocolate and raspberries are an incredibly delicious combination . . . but use whatever berries you have on hand for this brainy smoothie. There is strong evidence that berries help counter age-related memory loss and dementia, and promote overall brain health. Berries are easy to freeze and can be enjoyed year-round for health and wellness.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups butter lettuce

2 cups frozen raspberries

14 cup frozen seedless grapes

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

4 walnut halves

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
