Strawberrylicious Smoothie

Aaah . . . fresh air. After a day of pickin’ strawberries at your local farm, there is nothing more refreshing than a glassful of your hard work. Strawberries are not only a summer rock star in the taste department; they are packed with folate, vitamin C, and phytonutrients that will help lower your risk of developing certain diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups mixed greens

1 small pear of choice, peeled and cored

2 cups frozen strawberries, stems removed

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

1–2 teaspoons raw honey, optional

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
