Monster Mash Smoothie

What a great smoothie to make in front of a group of lil’ monster partygoers. Add in the spaghetti squash (brains), grapes (eyeballs), banana (yellow monster poop), almonds (fingernails), raw honey (critter snot), and the almond milk (albino bug blood). This is a healthy and fun option to the commercially made, junk-filled juice boxes and sodas. And, you’ll be the cool parent . . . so how is this wrong?

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups mixed greens

1 cup cooked and cooled spaghetti squash

12 cup frozen seedless grapes

2 bananas

10 blanched almonds (one for each finger)

2 teaspoons raw honey

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
