Green Lemonade Smoothie

You may not be setting up a green lemonade stand in front of your house anytime soon, but you can win the hearts of your little ones with this smoothie. The mango provides creaminess and sweetness that neutralizes a little of the tartness from the citrus acid in the lemons. If the mangos aren’t super-ripe, you may want to add a little raw honey to taste.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups mixed greens

3 small lemons, peeled and seeded

1 cup frozen mango cubes

Zest of 1 lemon

4 walnut halves

2 cups coconut water

1–2 teaspoons raw honey, optional

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
