This is a fun one to make together with your little sous chef. First blend everything but the kiwis, banana, and honey. Do a taste test and savor the sour. Then add the kiwi. Does it taste different? Add in that creamy, sweet banana. Is it a little less sour? More creamy? Okay, now round it out with that yummy unrefined honey. This smoothie can be a fun lesson in learning about the different properties of fruits and what they add to the drink.
2 cups green leaf lettuce
1⁄2 grapefruit, peeled and seeded
1 medium lemon, peeled and seeded
1 lime, peeled and seeded
2 kiwis, peeled
1 banana
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1–2 teaspoons raw honey, optional
