Cankles Be Gone Smoothie

Swollen ankles are common during pregnancy due to water retention. Give yourself a break from standing. While soaking your swollen feet in a warm Epsom salt bath (it is the miracle cure for sore muscles also), sip this smoothie full of potassium and antioxidants known for reducing swelling.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spinach

1 cup cantaloupe, peeled and seeded

1 orange, peeled and seeded

1 medium carrot, peeled

2 cups coconut water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
