Lil’ Punkin Smoothie

Take care of your growing lil’ punkin with this soothing blend of pumpkin and spices. When pregnant, your hips, back, and abdomen start to stretch and loosen in preparation for the birth. The protein in pumpkin seeds will help repair and prepare your muscles. Also, for a snack, drizzle the seeds with a little avocado oil and bake them until crispy. Let cool, and enjoy.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups mixed greens

12 cup pumpkin purée

1 peeled and frozen banana

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

12 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
