Kooky Kiwi Smoothie

Oranges aren’t the only way to get vitamin C in the morning. Kiwis are an excellent source and help guard against infections and free radicals. In addition, they are heart-healthy, blood pressure–regulating, bone-strengthening power fruits. Best of all, they are tasty, especially when paired with the complimentary sweet cantaloupe in this smoothie.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups green leaf lettuce

4 kiwis, peeled

1 cup cantaloupe

14 cup pumpkin seeds

2 cups coconut water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
