Spinach-Cilantro Smoothie

Forget the water in this smoothie—add a little avocado and serve this right out of the blender on some tortilla chips . . . Paleo tortilla chips that is, made from cassava flour. However you decide to enjoy it, know that you are doing great things for your body with these fresh, organic foods.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spinach

14 cup cilantro leaves

1 Roma tomato

2 celery stalks, including leaves

1 garlic clove

12 lime, peeled and seeded

2 cups water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
