Chocolate Mint Smoothie

A crowd-pleaser, this is a beginner smoothie for the skeptics. It’s perfect as a meal replacement, because the almond butter provides protein to round out the nutritional profile of this sweet treat.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

112 cups spinach

14 cup mint leaves

2 peeled and frozen bananas

12 cup frozen seedless grapes

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons almond butter

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 cup peppermint tea, cooled

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
