Raspberry-Lemon Tart Smoothie

Iceberg lettuce gets a bad rap, but surprisingly, it has a great natural carbohydrate count, which aids in the functioning of the nervous system. It also contains vitamins K and A, so don’t count this leafy green out when making this timeless and delicious combination of raspberries and lemons.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

112 cups iceberg lettuce

4 mint leaves

2 cups frozen raspberries

12 peeled and frozen banana

1 lemon, peeled and seeded

1 cup lemon tea, cooled

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tablespoon raw honey, optional

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
