Arugula, also known as rocket, is a member of the cruciferous veggie family, which includes broccoli and cauliflower. Although arugula is popular in salads, its peppery flavor doesn’t lend itself to a lot of smoothies. However, the strong coffee flavor in this drink helps mask the intensity of the arugula, allowing you to still gain its health benefits.

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon raw honey
1⁄8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 peeled and frozen banana
1⁄2 cup unsweetened almond milk
11⁄2 cups black coffee, cooled
