Frisée Peach Smoothie

Green tea is packed with fat-burning catechin antioxidants that aid in weight loss. Using green tea instead of water in smoothies amplifies the fat-burning properties of the vitamin- and mineral-rich greens and produce. Make sure to steep the tea for the suggested amount of time to maximize antioxidant release and taste.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups frisée

1 cup frozen peach chunks

2 small carrots, peeled

12 lime, peeled and seeded

2 cups green tea, cooled

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
