Dancing Diva Smoothie

Breaking a sweat doesn’t always have to be intense or painful. Sometimes you just need to get with a group of friends and shake your groove thing, whether in a gym class or on the dance floor. Living with a healthy mindset leads to eating well, moving your body, and having a positive outlook on life. Cool down when you exit the dance floor with this electrolyte-full smoothie to balance out your hip-shakin’ workout!

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spinach

4 mandarins or tangerines, peeled and seeded

2 small pears of choice, peeled and cored

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

2 cups coconut water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
