Tire-Flippin’ Fantastic Smoothie

After a tough hour of flipping tires, pistols, and wall balls, your body will crave some nourishment and protein to help repair those muscles. This smoothie not only contains vitamins and flavor; the pumpkin seeds and almond butter offer protein. The creamy banana helps this smoothie go down smoothly and hit the spot.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups kale

2 peeled and frozen bananas

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

1 tablespoon almond butter

2 cups peppermint tea, cooled

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
