Burpee Buster Smoothie

Oh, the burpee, the lovely little burpee. If you don’t know what it is, then you’ve never done one. You should look it up, though. There are many variations on the standard four-count exercise and also many ways to do it wrong. Ask a coach or personal trainer to show you the correct form before you incorporate this tricky little guy into your routine. Finish your day with this smoothie to curb your sweet tooth and satisfy the needs of your body’s cellular regeneration.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spring greens

12 avocado, peeled and pitted

1 cup frozen mixed berries

2 plums, peeled and pitted

2 teaspoons almond butter

2 cups coconut milk

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
