This thirst quencher can be enjoyed before or after a run. You want to constantly hydrate when exercising, including beforehand. This smoothie is a much better alternative to commercial sports drinks. You get some carbs from the spinach, sodium from the pinch of salt, and electrolytes from the pure coconut water. Mint and watermelon lend brightness of flavor to this smoothie.
