Yoga Zen Smoothie

Find your inner yogi with this zentastic green smoothie. Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory food, which aids in digestion and helps to relieve nausea. And, quite honestly, it just tastes good. Remember, a little bit goes a long way, but if you want extra spice, throw in some more ginger for a little zip.

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups chopped romaine lettuce

2 small pears of choice, cored and peeled

1 cucumber, peeled

1" knob ginger, peeled

2 cups chamomile tea, cooled

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 tablespoon raw honey, optional

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
