Swimmer’s Dream Smoothie

Whether you’re doing the crawl or the backstroke, close your eyes and imagine this post-workout tropical smoothie that is sure to have you dreaming of the beach. Frozen pineapple and banana replace ice cubes. Not only will this ensure your drink is not watered down, but the icy consistency of the smoothie is divine!

Recipe Yields: 3–4 cups

2 cups spring greens

12 cup frozen pineapple

12 lime, peeled and seeded

1 orange, peeled and seeded

12 peeled and frozen banana

18 cup sunflower seeds

2 cups coconut water

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add more liquid if necessary.
