Select as many as five goals, such as eat breakfast, pack lunch, and walk after dinner. Record your progress on a checklist. This process is objective; either you met your goal (ate breakfast, packed lunch, walked after dinner) or you did not. At the end of the week, assess your results. Begin by looking at it from a scientist’s perspective. Ask what went well, what didn’t, how things could have gone better, what was enjoyable, and what wasn’t. Use this information to tweak or change your goals as necessary.
