Adding this sauce is one of my favorite ways to eat salmon, although it’s tasty with a variety of fish. The presentation of the dish is pretty, too, so it’s perfect for company. Before baking or grilling your fish, squeeze a lemon over it. When finished cooking, pour this sauce over the fish and serve. Be sure to use a good-quality olive oil.
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves, crushed or chopped
1/8 cup packed chopped fresh basil leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
1 Whisk all of the ingredients together. Pour over prepared fish just before serving.
