BANANA SPLIT

 PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINUTES

SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS

500 ml (17 fl oz/2 cups) banana sorbet

dulce de leche sauce

chocolate chips and chopped almonds to serve

Place a quarter of the banana sorbet on each of four dessert plates. Using a piping (icing) bag with a fine nozzle or a small spoon, pipe or drizzle the dulce de leche sauce over the sorbet. Top with chocolate chips and almonds.

TRADITION

In Argentina, banana split is a traditional ice-cream flavour rather than the sundae found in the united states.
