I highly suggest making this or something like this every day. Everyone agrees turmeric is suuuuper good for you; there are pretty legit claims it helps prevent cancer development and other diseases no one wants. Adding black pepper to turmeric allows it to be better absorbed by your body—by literally 200 to 2000 percent! —EvE
SERVES 1
1 red bell pepper, cored and roughly chopped
1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries
¼ tsp ground turmeric
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
½ cup (120 ml) coconut milk
1 tsp maple syrup, or whatever sweetener you like
1 cup (235 ml) fresh orange juice
Blend it all up and drink it down.
