My Basic GREEN JUICE RECIPE FOR A HAPPY BOD

Okay, here’s the thing: smoothies are great, salads are great, rice bowls are great, but juice gives me something I can’t get anywhere else. When I get into the rhythm of having a glass of green juice or carrot juice or beet juice a few times a week, I notice I feel cleaner and clearer. I feel lighter. My skin glows a little bit. I think I might have more energy, but that could be wishful thinking. —EvE

SERVES 1 OR 2

4 celery stalks

2 cups (60 g) chopped fresh parsley or cilantro

3 cups (120 g) spinach

¼ cup (41 g) pineapple chunks

1” (2.5-cm) chunk ginger

1 lemon

Wash everything; then juice it all and drink. WOO! If it’s too tart, add an apple or more pineapple, but eventually I guarantee you’re gonna grow to love the flavor without any extra sweetness.
