Feeling Toasty

Sometimes breakfast doesn’t have to be much more than delicious ingredients piled on your favorite toast. The same goes for lunch, dinner, and snacks too! Here are some of my favorite toast-topping combinations:

Savory

image Mashed avocado with sea salt or Everything-Bagel Seasoning (here) (a classic and pretty much a daily stand-by in our house). Add eggs to make it even more filling: hard, soft, or scrambled.

Sweet

image Peanut butter, apple slices, honey

image Peanut butter, banana, chopped dark chocolate or mini chocolate chips

image Vanilla almond butter, peach slices, sliced almonds

image Plain Greek yogurt, berries, a sprinkle of granola

image Ricotta cheese, pear slices, chopped hazelnuts, honey

image Brie, cranberry sauce or berry jam, grated orange zest
