1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
2 scoops vanilla or berry protein powder or medical food (look for one containing at least 20 grams of vegan protein)
2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseeds
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1 to 2 tablespoons chia seeds, measured dry
½ to 1 cup berries, fresh or frozen
6 to 8 ice cubes
Measure the chia seeds and add to the milk. Allow to soak for 10 to 30 minutes. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and whip to desired consistency.
