Patchouli

Patchouli gets a bad rap. Ask around and you’ll find that most people in the Gen X and millennial generations associate patchouli as a pungent oil that Dad used to wear back in the ’60s and ’70s. Or that it’s only for hippies. I take offense to that! Yes, it was a popular oil among hippies and yes, it has a very strong scent, but if people took away their preconceived notions regarding patchouli, they would be surprised at how much they enjoyed it. It has a dark, earthy sexuality to it. It may appeal more to men, but women can enjoy it too.
