Lab 52: Seed Mosaic Note Card

This is a creative way to personalize a note to someone special and a great way to use old seeds that aren’t viable anymore.

DIG IN!

1. Fold or cut the piece of paper into the size you want. Write a message inside the card. Lightly sketch a design or image on the front of the notecard with the pencil. Be as simple or elaborate as you like. (Fig. 1)

2. Trace over one element of the pencil sketch with the glue. Sprinkle the seeds on top of the glue, completely covering it. (Fig. 2)

3. Continue this process for all of the parts of your card. If you are using different types of seeds for the different images you drew, apply the glue and seeds to one part of the notecard at a time. Set the card aside to dry overnight. Then give it to someone and be prepared to become their best friend. It’s true. (Fig. 3)
